Abstract
Complexity of the human brain and its development. Link to neurology and psychiatric diseases. Need for detailed characterization of development. Here, we provide a unique resource of fetal brain development across a number of functionally distinct brain regions in a brain region specific manner at single cell/nuclei resolution. Integrative analysis indicates cell type specific risk factors of psychiatric disease. Four individuals 2 time points (Early; gestational week 18 and 19, and late; gestational week 23 and 24). 4 brain regions each (cortical plate, hippocampus, thalamus and striatum). 50,937 single cell transcriptomes total number of nuclei examined.
